That is so correct about Ranji Bill, who was a terrific little mare, as tough as they come, gave away big starts in handicaps, and was not much bigger than a pit pony.

I'm not sure what height she was, but she was about as small as you will see.

(That is Ranji Bill I'm referring to, although Kim was also very petite)
Ranji was just 14 hands Trevor the smallest mare to win at Harold Park i believe was Dorals Princess she was 13.2hh i know from stabling near her one night with Ariel Frost who also was 13.2hh
Have whoever you want on but don't ever have yourself on

Jesus I'm getting old, I remember Dorals Princess and Ranji Bill clearly and Ariel Frost vaguely.

    Horses
    Sabilize, Sushi Sushi, Golden Goddess,
My interest in the family came about initially at the 1990 Inter Dominion in Adelaide. We had a horse in the series named Weona Chief who won a heat and ran third in the final.
Whitby Timer and Whitby Heritage both performed well through the series, trained and driven by Rod Chambers.
I also bought Ima Spicey Lombo a couple of years ago and have a RNR Heaven colt from her to be sold in next year's Sydney APG sale.

Its a long time ago but the champion racehorse and sire Good Time
A bay son of Hal Dale and the Volomite mare, On Time, stood barely fourteen hands high.

He must have left a tribe of small mares.
