I listen to the same podcast and agree with your sentiments Wayne. On the poll for standing down horses along with the trainer; I think there would owners who are completely oblivious to what is going on and as such the penalty would be grossly unfair. Take syndications for example, those that specifically target new entrants to the sport; I'm sure many, if not all, would have no idea if their trainer was doing the wrong thing. However, there are other owners who would be in it up to their eyeballs, if not orchestrating it!
