Thanks Wayne, I don't have a problem with a 'non-racing person' being appointed but I am not sure what value his strong engineering background will be

Even prominent breeders and country clubs association people don't know. Obviously Mr Martin is from outside the trotting industry, or other racing.

Under the current climate I think an ex cop or detective would have been a better choice. I thought integrity was going to improve under a new board but with the weak arsenic penalties just handed out I really wonder why I bother breeding horses.
