How are everyone’s yearlings breaking in?

I went out and watched a couple bowl around this morning:

Those are some well bred babies you have there!

Pretty good! All broken in, some going in for second preps pending avails at the breakers. Not too many breaking in over here in the West any more so there are queues for days at a lot of places. Time is passing quickly being June - the WA APG sales race is in Feb so only 6 months to get them qualified.

The one that's looking the goods so far for us is a Racing Hill - Russian Velocity colt - tall and strong and maybe it's his black colour with white legs and face but we've had quite a few comments on him. I hear Racing Hill had iffy fertility so didn't come down under again. Shame, it seems he throws some nice types.

    A long, long time ago
I don't know that RH's fertility was too iffy
27 foals from 41 services (with 3 returns not in)

Maybe 41 didn't justify the trip?

I can't remember who I heard it from but yes, that could be the reason although 65% isn't a fantastic result really.
