Gold Crosses added to HRA horse search reports

Now when you do a HRA search for a sire

and click on Progeny you will now see that you can click on a Gold Crosses report

The great thing about the reports is that the columns are sortable just by clicking on them
So ordering by number of Foals (to cut to those with relevant sample sizes)
or by Average $ per starter (with Highest earner right next to it so you can see if one horse has skewed the average)
is all very easy

A great resource and if you use it along with ClassicFamilies Classic Crosses you have a wealth of info
Some will use it to guide breeding choices but you can also look up Aussie based sires from the past and enjoy some nostalgia

Something that we have always had on our HRA searches which I think is underutilized is the Broodmare Sire Summary
If you are a breeder with a mare by 'ChampX" you can find ChampX's successes as a broodmare sire with one easy Broodmare Sire Summary search (you find it on the same tab toolbar as you see the new Gold Crosses option)
After clicking on this then choose either Lifetime Starters or Lifetime Winners

If you choose Lifetime Winners the default sort is Richest first which is a good one for showing you which sires have really clicked with your broodmare's sire
Let's say you are contemplating a particular sire for your mare, you can change from the default sort to Sort by Sire before clicking Submit and you can see how he has performed with broodmares with the same sire as your mare

I know this sounds a bit convoluted - you can see why HRA produced a video to explain Gold Crosses
