I really enjoyed the finals tonight but have to say that Irish Black Label was the run of them all as she sustained a wide run while the other 3 winners led or had the leader's back
A 3/4 yearling bro to IBL was still being advertised this week but alas all the shares are gone

Hard to believe that Tough Tilly started $1.04 in that field and yes she won like a $1.04 pop but if you reversed her draw with Antonia or Joanna it could have been totally different IMO
Somehow it doesn't seem right that the draw plays such an important part in what is most likely a runners biggest ever race - I reckon a field of 8 would be a bit fairer

Full siblings winning Gp1's on the same night at the same track does not happen too often
