Captain Hammerhead might have been the most expensive buy in the colts final but looking at how well he finished for 5th, I don't think Dominic Martello will have to worry about getting a return on his money

Thank you. LAURISTON entered 8 yearlings in the inaugural Nutrien Melbourne Yearling Sale and sold six. It was an amazing result to win both the colts and fillies Finals considering our low numbers against bigger commercial breeders. I am very proud of the Broodmare band. First Responder was my pick of our yearling draft that year . Of the two that were passed in , my filly Perfect In Pink has had two starts for two wins ( I didn’t pay up for the Sales Series) . The other filly is a big girl and will race as a late 2 year old. Smyrna Duruisseau was sold whilst retaining a sister to Follow The Stars and First Responder. National Gallery is in foal to SBSW , a full sibling to her recent two winners is on the way !
