How in this day and age, even at far flung, out of the way Narrabri, can this still happen in 2013? Got a bald spot from scratching my head!

Of course Banyula Fella was unable to fulfil his real engagement later in the day and was duly withdrawn.

Stranger still is the fact one is nz bred and one Australian. Slight difference in freeze brands that most looked over?
How doesn't the trainer-driver realise?
Another silly mistake was Hawke going for home a lap early at Bathurst last week.
What's happening out that way?
Bloody impossible to mix a horse up on race day especially when you train it . Don't they inspect the horse when it come's to parade ring ? They do here at Parkes.
Have whoever you want on but don't ever have yourself on
Has there been any word on this inquiry?
Thanks Brendan...this is now an interesting case. I guess we are talking catheads or goathorns as the contributing factor to the identification process. I am thinking the $3,000 fine is penalty enough in this case, considering there was no big sting involved here. The ID Official won't be lax in future either.
