That is exactly right, when a 2YO is able to sprint 2 or 3 times in the run, that is a class factor! She also did similar at her first start at Young......she was travelling well, went for a run got disappointed twice, had to be pulled back on the bit, and finally got clear and sprinted too well. [VVV] That's what I like about Bruce as a driver. He wouldn't go back for his wallet let alone going back in a 100k 2yo race over the sprint distance. No way known.
And to think Bernie Kelly didn't rate her that highly before her first start that's why Bruce drove the stablemate.
That's all just part of Bernie scoring the $9+.
