I notice this in Rob's form analysis for R4 at Hamilton today:

TOP PICK: OFFICIANADO (1) is racing in good form and was unlucky not to win last start from a similar draw after being softened up midrace by a tiring horse and only to get beaten by the horse up the sprint lane. Drawn well again and deserves another win after some strong performances but does face strong opposition here. Sure to run well.

It just so happens that the tiring horse was the ex-trotter Sisulu Success (who had only ever been successful once in 7 starts) having his first race as a pacer and he left the 1x2 (on the back of Hez The One who had won 11 of 17 starts) with a lap and a half to go despite the pace being good

Sisulu was gone one lap later down the back str and after Officianado copped some more pressure from Hez The One, the well backed Jilliby Dreamtime peeled off his back and went up the Sprint lane to win for Jason/Marg Lee

Who was driving Sisulu? Cousin/Nephew Matthew Craven

Maybe MC thought this ex-trotter was more horse than he showed

All I am saying is that the Stewards had to ask the question but there was zip in the Stewards Report
