Im not saying Darrel did anything wrong, but surely both drivers involved in a 26sec qtr need to be quizzed...
By the way, i own Grouse party House and had a decent bet on him so I was naturally disappointed with the result...
I don't think either of them did anything too wayward Harvey, I was a bit bemused though when I read the stewards report and it appeared one driver involved in the early lead battle was questioned at length and the other ( who was the challenger) never got a mention!?

Just had a chance to read it Dan and IMO that's up there with the most one sided/ridiculous query of tactics that I've seen in a while. If the report on that race was a Sydney based rugby team...it is one that would struggle to beat Moore Park B Grade.

Could it be that Jarrod was in the cross-hairs and fell foul here simply by virtue of the fact thatGrouse Party House had local/available/geeze, you know I'm pretty sure I watched those races form?...form which perhaps the Stewards felt they could review and comment upon with some authority...whilst on the other hand Daryl's filly was coming in cold from QLD to race in NSW and at Menangle for the 1st time...and so she had gone her trips/had a racing pattern that the NSW Stewards simply had not seen.... and so perhaps they felt they could not comment upon it? Perish the thought!
