Hi 'everyone, I grew up in 70's and 80's at Redcliffe Trotting Club and Albion Park. My family bred, trained and my brother to this day still has trotters.
I now show Whippets and I have 2 really promising girls that I have named after Margaret Shannon and Joyable, 2 mares that I loved to watch growing up.
I have been kindly sent 2 photos of Margaret Shannon but I can't find a photo anywhere of Joyable.
Is there anyone out there that can help me?
Thanking you in Anticipation.
JJ
Your best bet is to find out who the course photographers were at Gold Coast, Redcliffe, Moonee Valley, Kilmore and Albion Park back then and give them a quick call. I'm sure the trotting clubs could point you in the right direction. Judging by the amount of wins between them, it's likely there'll be a few photos around. You could also ask your local papers, as back then the trots got more newspaper coverage than it does today I'm sure.

Maybe Alan Donohoe still has some photos. You could try and contact him.
