Even allowing for some cat and mouse, which I didn't notice, after the heats it would seem that they are all running for second behind Vincent

Exactly.

Then, maybe, the NSW Derby.

Will Bling it on scale new heights in the Hunter cup this Saturday at Melton? It is a great chance to win although it is a couple of years since it has won at this distance and hasn't won a big stayer type race against the good FFA's. The horse has drawn 5 against the 2 big guns and for a Grand Circuit race it is light on for top FFA's so there are no excuses.

I will put my hard earned on Smolda again, just travelling too good at the minute.

Interesting to see Guaranteed in the Hunter Cup first up from a spell, since November 25 !
Has it trialled at Ballarat?

Trialed on the 24th of Jan at Melton. Won running running in 54.45 LH. Would have to think it would have it's work cut out from the draw though regardless of fitness.. Could end up 4 back the fence

Adam Hamilton just saying this is the first time NSW have won the Hunter Cup since 1984
A thought, a crazy one as things are what they are, but would Lenny have won this race if we did not have a sprint lane?
The race may have been run differently but maybe not as I think YaYa and Bling may have handed up anyway

The Derby made me think of this thread

I took Wayne's point but what a race to have this happen

Congratulations to Adam - second was 250% of YaYa's previous biggest payday

I found the whole night a joke, surely the best of the best are on display. Purden made a mockery of night with uninspiring, to say the least, driving. He wasn't the only one. Drive on Speeding Spur left my head spinning. However drive on Bling it On made my night, though am not a fan of sprint lanes, just love great driving.
