Witnesses say that the scene he created in the stables area at YV would rule him out of being a HRV Board member - even if that was one of the things he was yelling at Sugars

His ego would clearly not let him resign

"Spud" is one of the saints finest and the only fullback to be able to quell the great Gary Ablett but I am not sure what he knows about harness racing and I am sure he is a bit bigger than the driver in question.

In the wash up DF has been fined $4,000.
Although I know he has a media profile and harness racing in his background, it seems to me that HRV are going to a lot of trouble to keep him - normally it would have been a simple sacking/resignation

I think the penalty is fair enough. DF hasn't cheated or robbed anyone. I don't know what was said but I think from now on he would be on very thin ice.

I would see that as comedy even though I don't watch that show much these days. The thought police are ruining this country and this group is made up of so called journalists/fence sitters and longtime Lurkers who cannot write a decent story/article/post themselves but watch and wait patiently for someone to verbally slip up or crack some type of joke on a TV show or other forum which may offend 1 in ten million of Australia's population and then denounce that article or person.
