Kevin Newman has passed away at the age of 83

He won an unequalled 10 Harold Park trainers’ premierships and eight drivers’ premierships.
Kevin was the first driver to win two Miracle Miles - Halwes 1968 and Friendly Footman 1981.

There was none better in his hey day Kev,he taught me Dad a lesson at Penrith on our way to Canberra all those years ago that I mentioned in the "What got you hooked?" thread, it was KB driving Hal Peterson when Dad went for a run that wasn't there. A great driver no doubt and a gun trainer as well.
