Good stuff Paul. Very clear - made me wonder whether this here deaf coot couldn't have listened to a few more. Interesting to hear Len's early memories of the Showgrounds and how his interest in harness was piqued by his parents consenting to put 2 bob each way on for him and his first bet getting up at 50/1. Len's disappointment at the demise of Standing Starts is no doubt shared by many.
