Well the fields are out

As a random draw should always throw up - we have some of the big chances draw the 2nd line

If Sicario had drawn the front he would have been so short but Poster Boy has also drawn the back. King of Swing connections would be very happy and it will be interesting to see if Colt 31 is restrained at the start this time

Petacular has drawn much better than Party On

The 3yo colts is set up to be a great race while the 2yo Fillies draw has fallen in favour of the NZers

Pleased with the way the daughter of Betterthancheddar has come through the semi, co-trainer Shane Tritton is confident My Sweetchilliphilly can atone for her defeat.
“She was tired after the run, which is to be expected, but she’s pulled up a treat and is as bright as a button,” Tritton said.
“The run has certainly sharpened her right up and she will be a lot better for it in the Final.

Unbelievable that a virus has hit this filly quickly. Such a shame.

So glad I trimmed my Quaddie to $40.50 instead of $54 and then had that $10 saver on Little General after getting the first 2 legs
Such good punting cost me $700 :(
No wonder I rarely punt

Top racing - in the pacing divisions every horse that ran a place is a very, very good horse (I am not really up on the trotters)

Depending on how much she/Peter Tonkin own of Our Little General and whether she only gets 7.5% as trainer
Mario Attard who takes 97.5% of Dont Hold Back's $28,500 as owner, trainer, driver (I think breeder gets 2.5%) - may take home more than her, Trish

Mervat Caruana and T.Galea are probably the day's biggest winners thanks to Nostra Villa
with Lauriston Bloodstock next thanks to Our Little General and Poster Boy whom they not only bred but own or at least part of (congratulations Anne)

Of course you did - it was me that was half asleep! But it did make me think that it is pretty hard to make ends meet if you do not have a share - compared to the trainers I think the drivers have got it easy but I have seen drivers like Chris Alford often acting as stable rep doing all the work at places like Hamilton or Stawell and it is their neck on the line in the dangerous helter skelter. I guess, I am saying the trainers could easily get 10% and with slings I expect some already do
