Repercussions from the Canterbury earthquakes are a major factor in Mark Purdon's decision to stay training permanently in New Zealand for at least another year. It also means that Australian harness racing trainer Natalie Rasmussen of Blacks a Fake fame will be moving to Canterbury to be with Mark instead of going to Sydney from Brisbane in September.
