It was a good day at the Stawell Cup even if the weather could have been warmer for this time of year (no rain however, just a little too much wind)
I was glad I just made it for the first because seeing the excited dash along the fence in the home straight by the co-owner and breeder (whom I doubt has moved that fast since she was a girl) was a highlight of the day
PS When congratulated later, she had no memory of doing it and was embarrassed but she should not have been - it would make an excellent promotion for seniors getting involved in harness racing

To be expected, Shadow Sax was a bit too classy from his good draw in the Cup
