Looking up the breeding of the 3yo first starter at Horsham on Monday: Castle Retreat
2nd dam Nickel Castle would certainly be considered a broodmare gem

Thanks Richard. She certainly has done a wonderful job as a broodmare. She won $225,513 on the track and two of her fillies have won Group 1's. Her Dam Kliklite was also a good mare in NZ and it does seem to be a fillies family. Speak No Evil along with Queen Of Pop shares her Dams temperament but has shown improvement with each start. Top Tempo has been to Bettors Delight 5 times and I was rewarded this year when she had her second filly by him; a sister to Musical Delight. Musical Delight has also had her second foal and first filly by Somebeachsomewhere.
