just had a read of this.....Gordon Banks is making more sense that every single trots administrator in Australia we have been saddled with in the last 35 years.

Gee! imagine having racing that is not one dimensional and subsequently boring?? whodathoughtit?

Gee!! imagine that the trots can ALSO be entertaining????? not just a product for the benefit of gamblers...!!!!!

Gee!! imagine that! a person from way over there in the US ACTUALLY SAID a half mile track was not a bad thing???

One would hope before our game is completely and utterly murdered by self serving groups ( who have played a large hand in their own problems) someone will see the light and market our game to a wider audience than what our current masters the gambling houses allow/promote.

Another good article Dan.
I love how he described Sky

I spent a few evenings watching races on SKY and I could not believe how boring, annoying, and frightening the experience was! There was basically no race commentary, no interesting interviews or discussions, no soul at all..just wall to wall racing with dog, harness, and thoroughbred races immediately back to back. There is no concern to promoting racing, only to creating gambling addicts, which should be alarming to all!

He sums Sky up perfectly - no soul at all

And that would apply across the ditch here as well :(
