Chase Auckland has drawn well again and the TAB has him ever so slightly in front of Ignatius in early markets even though he could not beat him in the Gp2 Paleface

And its not going to be any easier for Chase Auckland this week. Got away with some cheap sectionals in front last week which won't happen this week with Picard there. Picard would cross I imagine.
Poster Boy to the chair, hand up to Ignatius and then run past him in the straight. Ashley Locaz, Rackemup Tigerpie to be flying home to try and grab Picard and Chase Auckland for 3rd and 4th.

Looking at which of Ron Jenkins Great Trotters (1974) still have descendants going around (the sort of thing everybody does on a miserable day - right?)
I noticed that Rackemup Tigerpie's 6th dam Connenora was the dam of Aachen (1952)
Aachen won his first 20 starts (a record at the time)
A successful sire including 1969 Inter winner Richmond Lass

I am very happy with CHASE AUCKLAND getting the ace draw in the Chariots. Better than 10 thats for sure. There will be pressure but he will improve so much again on his run last week he should be up to it. You can’t afford to be too conservative in a short course race like that and I won’t be looking to taking prisoners.
Those races are never easy but I am fairly confident he can get the job done. ALL U NEED IS FAITH is going the right way and Mark reported this morning that they are all going the right way toward Saturday.
You know if he had drawn a marble I could easily have tipped ASHLEY LOCAZ to win it. Great little horse doing well and he has shown he can run a fast time.
I am expecting to have to break 1.49 to win but Have Faith In Me did that for us.

26.8 final quarter of the race, what does that make Poster Boys? Not in the same league yet but best finishing 400m at Menangle since Quinnys Interdom.
Kev; no 1-1 as predicted but I'll let Alford do the driving!
4yo stablemate Maraetei also winning the Terang Cup tonight!

Poster Boy: A career at stud in the offing?, the colonial stallion stocks would seriously benefit with him in the mix. I have a real desire to see our "Colonial" stock succeed at the expense of the imports and look forward to the day when the world comes chasing our stallions Ahh dreams (One powerball) What a pearler of a run five wide then four wide to the finish. Congratulations to the owners
