I remember the horse because at its 1st start as a 2yo it went a 1:56.4 mile @ Menangle in early January of 2010, I was there trackside that day and it tipped to the outside around the 3/4's and came down the middle of the track, looked to me like it was going to be all but unbeatable going into the Huntley...where it duly got rolled in 2:08 would you believe & then proceeded to take another 18 months to go just 0.3 second faster than its career opening salvo. Swelled up and delivered on the 1s time out...and that was that. Killer for a day.
