Race caller Globe Derby

Just curious about race caller at Globe Derby today 17th June, don't know the voice. (It's not Jim Jacques)

a young kid called LACHLAN STACE ,been calling the trials for a few years ,hopefully gets the race callers job permantely, to replace arguably the worst race caller ever in JACQUES

He'd be the worst caller I've heard. Just does not have the voice for it.
I know it's an SA and WA thing but him saying Globe DUrby makes my blood boil. A big turnoff.

spot on steve ive been listening to race callers for 30 odd years and he is the worst ive ever heard. great when you are home watching sky, just see where your horse is and hit the mute button

Gee , different strokes for different folks I guess, I personally LOVE Jim Jacques' calls for the passion AND accuracy he delivers. Yes he has a distinctive voice, and again in my humble opinion that is an asset rather than a liability.
