Anyone got any thoughts on tonight's Menangle meeting. I am a shocking tipster , so won't insult you with my tips http://www.postsmile.net/img/20/2007.gif (http://www.postsmile.com/)

G'day Ozninja

Not that I'm any better but I think Deadsetlucky will continue to improve so I put him on top in Race 6 and in the last Fitzpatrick's Earle Dale at $5.80 looks outstanding value. He should start much shorter but I'll go for him anyway

Regards

Mark

Thanks Mark. Yes , I was looking at a small wager on Deadsetlucky too. With the small field in Earle Dale's race , driving tactics will be all important , but I think he is right in it.

Just looking at the overall meeting it is amazing how many NZ horses are engaged. I'm not complaining at all as I think in the last few months they have lifted the overall quality of horses racing at Menangle.

I'll have something on that great old warrior Karloo Mick too in Deadsetlucky's race. He always goes around with my money. Memories of that final race at Harold Park that he won will stay with me forever.

Great win by Franco Jamar and on a cold wet night ran an amazing 1:51.2

How about that final quarter in 26.2! Wonder where the connections are thinking of going next.

Only an M1. I wouldn't mind a couple of M wins at Menangle for $11,000 and then to races like Newcastle Mile and Cordina Sprint I would have thought.

Interestingly the time broke Our Crown Law's M1 record of 1:51.6 at Menangle. I thought it would be quite a while before that would happen. I'd love to see both of them matching strides over the Menangle Mile.

How wet was it ? The run of the night IMO was Karloo Mick

He's a great trier Karloo Mick. He was bobbling the whole way down the lane, something is bothering him but the champ just doesn't know when to give up! :)
