Pretty sure it was previously on the website, but the barrier draw is being done at the function run by the Angelique Club at the Amora Hotel in Richmond this evening.

Knew the field but thanks for the info on the draw Carol
I went back and found a glitch on the HRV website
If I tap 'News' I get a search box
but for a fraction of a second I saw 2 horse pics and a glimpse of the words Vic cup
so I persisted and found that if I held my finger on the 'News' tab instead of tapping it I got it!
8.30 tonight

PS On further investigation I found it listed alongside the 5 featured stories but I will claim it is easily missed as it does come up as a rotating pic like the other 5 :D

Looking from a breeding perspective

Mach Three (what a loss :() has 3 top chances:
Colt 31, Cash N Flow, San Carlo

Bettors Delight has 4 in if you count the emergency:
Code Black, Wrappers Delight, My Kiwi Mate, Can't Refuse (Em)

The other 6 runners are by
Art Major, Real Desire, American Ideal, Shadow Play, Falcon Seelster and Courage Under Fire

Admittedly my media exposure is pretty much limited to The Age (not great but I prefer it to the HeraldSun)
and I am not on Facebook or Twitter so I have seen no promotion for the Vic Cup so I am asking you guys and gals - If you were not an enthusiast already, would you know it was on?
(I am assuming The Herald Sun has been all over it - I hope)

That's not good to hear Brendan. I am in Melbourne or else I might have been there - I like their track as it is almost the equal of a good trots track for viewing

A Tk Rec in the Vic Cup - I doubt Colt31 expected Bling to get off the fence
Buster is not racing truly - should be 300/1 for Inter

San Carlo is the best horse in the country at the moment he just lacks tactical speed so I worry if he will just keep looking like the best horse in the race rather than winning. Huge run. Only horse in the running to finish within cooee.

I think you are right but it is a most interesting point you make
Bling may have to be rated Eq1 as he has the tactical speed while 31 being 4yrs their junior may keep getting stronger
San Carlo may however have longevity as he has been lightly raced having had his first start as a late 4yo
