On a slight tangent, I somehow found myself researching Flashing Red
2007 was a magnificent year for him winning $854kNZ mostly in NZ (Trotting Cup as he did again in 2008)
But what I consider quite remarkable is how he still won $221kNZ in Australia despite only winning 1 race that only kicked in $20K
The answer lies in $40k+ placings in the WA cup, Vic cup & Hunter cup and second in the Ballarat cup was good for $20k
