Some very erratic driving on Tuesday at Menangle from G Bennett.
A little too coincidental I believe.............

Poor Ben. My heart goes out to him, it really does. Such terrible behaviour by G. Mac there. Clearly, we're going to have to approach him and repossess the VVV hat.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Greg, let's wait to see what the stewards report has to say about the race , probably that will be released today.

Camerons decision to stay behind the G-Mac was the only "unusual" part but that wont feature in the stewards report.
He had ample time and room to come off early but decided to stay in.

Yes.....Poor Ben. Im sure we will be seeing more of these tactics in the coming weeks.
Small weak individuals like him need to be put in their place............

RACE 1 – G J HARRIS & CO PACE – 1720 METRES

Leaving the 1600 metres REGAL GRANT which displayed gate speed, shifted out when negotiating the first turn. At the same time I MAGE OF LIGHT shifted in slightly and as a result both runners engaged sulkies and locked wheels. When disengaging wheels REGAL GRANT was checked became unbalanced and galloped losing valuable ground and IMAGE OF LIGHT sustained a damaged nearside sulky wheel. At a subsequent inquiry as no particular driver or horse could be found blameworthy, it was noted to be a racing incident however both drivers were advised to exercise care in similar circumstances.

Hahahaha.....excellent judgement.
