Sobering thought in The Age today
If even just ¼ of the Australian population get the virus, with the mortality rate at about 1%
that means 50,000 deaths

IMO a scary story in that a person could be spreading the virus without knowing it - not that that was the case with John

as in terms of OP's post - you are definitely right, and to be honest (i know that i will get some critics) i don't really understand what's the mess about? millions (and billions) of people stay in their houses, doing nothing, because of a few thousands in the entire world...

i haven't seen my horse in like... 4 weeks because of this...

i haven't seen my horse in like... 4 weeks because of this...Up for level headed debate about the social and economic cost of these restrictions but surely its not hard.to work out thousands become tens of thousands becomes hundred of thousands becomes millions.
