With Terror To Love winning last night it has made the NZ Cup winner as clear as a chocolate milkshake. If Smokin Up arrives, he will clearly be the one to beat otherwise I don't think I have seen any horse announce that he/she will be a clear favourite. At this stage I think there is possibly 7 horses who could win.

After Smoken Up lost to Mr Feelgood I believe its anyones game. After Ashburton today though if Auckland Reactor can step and handle the distance I think it could be his cup to lose.

IMHO he was outsprinted, not outstayed and certainly not disgraced and was beaten by one of the best horses in the country. His effort still warrants his favouritism in the Cup IMHO....

IF he races as good as he did in the Interdoms I think Smoken Up will win the NZ Cup.

I agree that if Smokin Up has his ID form then barring bad luck he will win the cup, however, again if AR is near him turning in he could get outsprinted depending on the how the race was run. One thing is that with Lance in the field the race will be run true. Looking forward to it.
