Sad news that ALTA CHRISTIANO NZ (https://www.harness.org.au/ausbreed/reports/hraonline.htm) had to be put down after after surgery for colic.

He had made a great start to his stud career .

The article says that he covered over 160 mares this season so there will be a few to watch in the coming years

Has a fantastic record really - 68 starters for 53 winners. 78% winners to starters and a $18k average prizemoney per starter. Such a shame. If he'd seen the quality of broodmares other stallions see, he'd have a much better record too.
