There are some obvious ones like
Lots 37 & 60 (in top form right now!)

At present Interesting mares (families) 78 & 82 in foal to Betting Line are under the price of his service fee
While IMO a case could be made for 73 and even 44

Like the obvious ones 39 (Bettors) & 69 already have their fans/price

You will notice everything I have listed is female as that is what I would be interested in if I had any coin

Lot 57 must have qualified well for I cannot think why else 4yo gelding My Ultimate Andy is at $20k

I am adding Lot 151 to my list. Shes Fine, an empty mare 5yo mare with a very respectable record and Larrakeyah Lady as her 3rd dam
and maybe Lot 169 Rock N Roll Delight as a cheap buy for a West Aussie

Let's face it - it was a terrible time to be having a Sale

72 lots Sold 122 Passed In

I took a snip of bids with 3-5hrs remaining so I do know that there were 16 lots with bids of between $11k and $28k that were knocked back ( I am not saying that they were not worth more)

Lot 37 yearling, knocked back at least $24k
Lot 60 Tina Calls who raced last night knocked back at least $28k

I should have taken a snip closer to hammer time but I am not sure they changed that much


Mind you a couple that sold did:
Lot 57 4yo gelding My Ultimate Andy, which I was surprised to see at $20k got $32k
Lot 82 Rock Setter, whom I thought an interesting breeding proposition (and in foal to Betting Line) went from $8k to $18k in the last 3hrs

I reckon the buyer of Lot 151 Shes Fine for $4,750 did alright

I noticed a couple with a reserve of $20k for which I had seen offers of 19 with 3 hours of the auction to go, so I am not sure if there were Vendors Bids?
Good racing mare Tina Calls Lot 60 had an offer of $24k with 4 hrs to go but she is still seeking offers with a Reserve of $24.5k so that is strange (maybe her race failure 9 days ago took the wind out of their sails/sales ;))
Some of the Reserves are as much as 7 times what I saw offered for them!
Plenty with reserves twice - 4 times what I saw bid

I was very surprised at some of the high reserves on some of the lots Kevin. Some people are dreaming.

I or them must have got the Tina Calls price wrong as I looked at the link again after she won today and now see Reserve is $28.5k
