Any idea on how the numbers stack up with sires in america? Like the sorts of artistic fella, art official just to name a few?

Happy to try and compile the figures for you Shannon but the problem with comparing them (US/CAN Vs AUS/NZ) is that they've gone back to restricted books up there (I think that it's 140 PTIF max? or something like that)....while down here we obviously have open books.
Taking that into account, whatever figures I come up with aren't going to tell you a whole lot really other than maybe if they went 'Book Full & Closed' before the season opened or soon after it opened or else sometime during. That's a pretty fair measure of demand of course.
Even then you can't take some of them on face value because you have to take into account their respective Sires Stakes systems etc.
For example, some otherwise moderate sires can and do book out simply because they're big fish in small ponds, they'll make a splash or are expected to make a splash locally but on the national stage you don't hear from them etc. etc.
