Hopefully NO Vicbred Finals on NYE next year

I hope this year is just a one off but the way Dayle Brown has spoken about how wonderful it has all been, I fear it may not be.
Cater for the Melton crowd with a NYE meet for sure but having just about our biggest meet for the year on NYE is only one step removed from having it on Christmas Day. People have lives outside harness racing and to be torn between normality and harness racing on NYE is a clash we do not need.

When should we run it next year?
Any night that Ch7 main channel will show it

Otherwise, as stated, I am not a fan of NYE
And otherwise, I would split it across 2 nights of 6 Gp1's

We will have to see what happens when crowds are allowed back on course to see how successful it is. Personally I didn't have a bet or watch a race.
