This race deserves a better time slot than a Monday like today
Where the club cannot justify the expense of (ridiculous) Covid 19 protocols and thus it is not open to the public - mind you, if you generally view the racing from the grandstand function room you can roll up and do that as that is part of the West Side Sports complex

Stewards adjourned an inquiry into an incident near the 1000 metres involving Yankee Gold NZ (Emmett Brosnan) and Radius (David Barbetti) in relation to Radius being forced wide at that stage of the event. Stewards took evidence from Mr Barbetti and as Mr Brosnan had left the racecourse this matter was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
