Why are the replays so slow to go up in Vic?

RISE are responsible for putting up the replays of Victorian races on harness.org.au (among other things)
Are they are letting down the side?
Melton R1 was run at 6.22 and, along with the races since, there is still no replay up an hour and a half later

Menangle R3 (7.33) replay was up 10mins after it was run

The replays for Vic are up on the TAB and I have been told by HRV that HRV and Mediatec send the replays to both the TAB and harness.org.au SO when the replays are not up, it is a RISE/website fault

Edit I am not sure if this is true anymore BUT someone quite frequently lets the side down

Nathan Jack got hauled in by the stewards for most of his drives at Shep last Tuesday
I am not saying there was something untoward about his drive on the favourite in R9
but it was one of his worst drives and the horse should have won by panels
There is little excuse for getting hemmed in when you have had a cushy run in the 8 position and you are on the favourite (sometimes the 4 and 6 positions can get caught out - the 8 should be doing the catching out)

Anyway, I contacted RISE over 24hrs ago to let them know that there is no replay up for this Tuesday race - still nothing - THAT IS PLAIN SLACK

Of course you can see it on the TAB/Sky (probably could 5mins after it was run)

R5&9 from that meet still have not appeared (an email to Cody at HRV did not get a reply)

I still have not got an explanation why HRV's results page is 2nd rate as far as Video Replays go
I missed R1 at Melton tonight and although the TAB/Sky had R2up within a minute or so (and I assume R1 too), harness.org.au have not got R1 up 50mins after it was run
Why not?
People without betting accounts and those who want to see the bigger pic that harness.org.au provides should not have to wait any longer than TAB patrons for replays

It is very strange that there are still no Vic results up (Results showing Fields). I think it must be Vic's problem as the Melton meeting is not even listed in the Results column for last night on the HRA homepage

I reckon it is a first for the TAB to have no results up for our metro Saturday night meet 2 days after the event (I saw them for some of the early races on the night because it was the go to what with the HRV site being down)
I put in a complain with the TAB on Sunday morning, it will be interesting to see how long it takes for them to wake up

The matter needs a widespread explanation from both RISE and Tabcorp.

I didn't watch any races due to being put in hospital for a weekend. I couldn't understand what was going on when I had enough peace and quiet to look up results. There wasn't any.

It is well known that there is no service or network coverage at Maryborough. The TAB get their vision from the sky feed then have the luxury of uploading it from their office/HQ which is probably in the middle of Sydney/Melbourne with super fast internet.

This is the keys series of the year, dollars spent on media advertising, and they cant even get the videos up quickly.
Seriously, the whole attraction of the 3x heat to final series is so you can track horses progress throughout, this includes watching the replays. Poor form by rise leading to poor form analysis by the punter!

I don't accept internet problems etc, if the race could be live-streamed, then there is enough capacity to upload too. At worst case the video from the livestream could be captured remotely and uploaded remotely from the HRV office if needed.

The explanations don't add up.

In terns of communications it might as well be at the centre of The Bermuda Triangle, 'coz 10 hours after the first race today and, once again, no replays appear on the HRA website. Pathetic.

Replays for yesterday were available on Harnessweb either last night or early this morning yet still not available on the main site.

You won't find it on the HRV site as nothing is up for Saturday (some problem there) but it is now up on HRA. Mytwobobsworth gave us the excellent tip to look on Harnessweb as they always seem to have the replays up - even for Maryborough

Most of HRV are actually better than you might think but try as they might they do not seem to be able to get this one quite right

Had to watch the replays for Mildura on TAB site.
Got a good laugh at the commentator's gaff in race 1, near the 800m marker (40 seconds into TAB replay). You have to listen carefully, and he corrected himself very quickly, but it got me looking for the horse with the tail in the air!

I must say Oz have always had the best commentators in the world.

Yep, me. It wasn't just a Victorian issue though. I couldn't access Tassie fields and got the same message.
