A lot being asked of some derby and oaks heats starters - first up over 2760m
Lucky they are however as the numbers are low - the Stewart factor ie scaring them off
She pretty much has half the runners
6 in each heat go through so not much pressure

With Bulletproof Boy only an Em in the Smoken Up Sprint, I am thinking the Tk info saying they run fields of 12 over the various distances - must be wrong

LTF simply has too much on them
The Derby heats were decent races but the Oaks heats held more interest at the tale of the field to see who ran last and would be the single filly eliminated. The first heat was an interesting race however as Kerryn could not get DAD to settle, in fact both Kerryn's Oaks drives were the ones eliminated

The Derby is the only one of the six Gp1's where the bookies think there is any chance of an upset
The rest are all $1.60 and less

Disappointing that LTF is out of the Vic Cup but it will probably make for a better race

Impressive by Swayzee last night. There is LTF, then Swayzee, then some distance to the rest of them.
That 1.51.8 (over 2240m) was his fastest ever MR

Just watched the replay , as we are at Rowley Shoals & wow Swayzee was super impressive.
If LTF was in that raçe I don't think he (Swayzee) would have got the lead as Mach Dan would have handed up to LTF not Swayzee . Just my opion.
But super win just the same by Swayzee.
