New MP is looking forward to the challenges

It's great to be appointed the new Racing Minister. I'm looking forward to meeting harness racing people involved in the industry and discussing the challenges and opportunities we face. As the local MP for Otaki I've attended race meetings in Foxton and Otaki, and I was the Minister of Internal Affairs in the last term of Parliament which had considerable overlap with racing through the administration of gambling policy.
