Good get Robert. You aroused my interest and I discoverd the mare Cabsav Jaccka (1996) only had 4 foals and she and her first 2 fillies all passed away on 4/7/2006 (which also happens to be my birthday). Anyone know the story there? Fire? Breeder was NZs C.F.Smaill.

OOPS - think my bad. May be the day C.F.S sent a few to the knackery (if so, big mistake for Cabsav Jaccka) The reason I say this is that on further research I noticed that at least 3 of Cabsav's sister died on the same day (but not that day I referred to in my other post) That makes at least 6 horses on just 2 days - yep would appear to be one of the unfortunate sides of the industry I have stumbled upon
