About 150 nails have been scattered around a New Zealand horse racing track, which race officials are calling an "act of terrorism" against the industry. An anonymous phone call 90 minutes before racing was due to start at Ascot Park Raceway in Invercargill on Saturday alerted officials that there were 120 lead head nails spread on the galloping track, the Southland Times reported.

Yeah, there is a report the course farrier had a hole in his work bag, and spilled them on the track!!

Yeah..Nobody realised that the farrier used Lead head nails.
I referred your opinion to the police for their investigation.

The nails were probably stolen from Ausie by some kiwi on the dole.
