A sad ending came at Perth's Gloucester Park Paceway on Friday March 2, when the last ever traditional Inter Dominion Carnival concluded. First held in Perth way back in 1936, the Inter Dominion was held throughout Australia and New Zealand on a rotation basis, with every state and both islands across the Tasman competing in an exciting test of speed and harness racing stamina.
