I imagine that since Barry was only suspended on Tuesday that the paperwork for the change of trainer has not gone through the HRNSW system yet. The horse itself was made free and clear to race as of last week as I recall.

I think because it is a futurity race and the horses being paid up for the series a couple of week's ago is probably why they are in the fields and Barry was trainer at time of final payment/nom for series.

Nice to see Karloo Kix win heat five of the Gold Chalice, now being trained by Steve Turnbull and driven by Robert Morris this arvo at Bathurst. I think the horse is owned by Barrys wife. Good luck to her, is there anyone out there who would begrudge her that win?

Brad, I think you like this horse!........Perhaps you could invite Karloo Kix, the Lew family up to the opening night at the Maclean Trotting Club.......I heard a rumour that as you are the incumbent club president, that you were going to make an announcement to all the locals about when the track will open, at next weeks, "Maclean Highland Gathering" on the Easter Weekend????
