...and at a lot less than her initial winning effort paying $9+. That still hurts Breno, that still hurts.

Frith will need to do it tough to win. I doubt the lead is there for her.

If you call 20m winning margin just, and 2 seconds quicker than the next fastest heat then yes, just wins ::D

Meh, so-so performance that one!! The effort at Leeton sprinting two or three times in the run is what done it for me :p Despite being drawn the back row Bruce Harpley never thought about going back!

That is exactly right, when a 2YO is able to sprint 2 or 3 times in the run, that is a class factor! She also did similar at her first start at Young......she was travelling well, went for a run got disappointed twice, had to be pulled back on the bit, and finally got clear and sprinted too well. That's a smart horse!

[VVV] That's what I like about Bruce as a driver. He wouldn't go back for his wallet let alone going back in a 100k 2yo race over the sprint distance. No way known.

And to think Bernie Kelly didn't rate her that highly before her first start that's why Bruce drove the stablemate.

That's all just part of Bernie scoring the $9+.
That lovable old country fella routine that he pulls...it works every time. ;););)

I think the breeding of the two horses played a little part in that i believe.
