The $1.70 favourite punters might have been chewing their finger nails to the bone but champion harness racing driver Maurice McKendry always thought he had tonight's (Friday April 13) Auckland Reactor Pace for 2-year-olds at Alexandra Park all parcelled up - despite being hemmed away on the markers just prior to turning for home.
