Part-owner of Chokin passes away aged 86

Bert DeBoer passed away on April 4 after a long illness at the Gold Coast Hospital. He was 86. Bert will be remembered as a partner in the Champion pacer Chokin arguably the greatest New Zealand pacer of all time - also very successful in Australia.
