Mares sizzle in Winton's heat of Golden Girls

The first harness racing heats of the Southland/Otago Golden Girls 4YO Mares Series kicked off at Winton on Sunday (May 27). Two races were held run over 1700 metres: Firstly, 0-1 win mares, lifetime earnings $10,000 and 2-4 win, lifetime earnings $40,000.
