Palais Du Louvre finally broke its run of outs for Paul and family at Ballarat tonight. Congrats fella, hope you got a kick out of it, I was cheering for ya...even if I didn't I have a cracker on him at the 12's :) Good onya.

Got the wife and 2 young kids as well as Luke there last night and much yelling and jumping.

Can't get the smile off Lukes face!

Very, very proud of our horse. Super job by his trainer (Leigh Miles) to get him back. He's had many setbacks and frustrations with him. Put heaps and heaps of time and effort into him so we're rapt for him. Great drive by Scott Dyer too.

We don't punt so missed the good odds too.

11/10 for the drive...perfection. You guys are living proof its not about the money for some of us (but it helps). There was a bit of cheering from up here too. He certainly is looking a lot sharper now. Hope the wins keep coming guys.

We're just blown away! Always very proud of our horse but Super Super proud of him last night.

And also of Leigh Miles. Very muchly deserved for him after all the hours he's put into him and all his hard work, dedication and patience. Another great drive by Scott Dyer too. Too good all of them!

Yep Dallas... Lukey was calling his race all the way home. The replay copped a hammering when we got home and just heard his 'dulcet tones' coming from his bedroom. For the first time I can remember, last night he used the words "You were right dad". He was a bit down in the dumps on way home when we just got nutted a couple of weeks ago. Told him just got to be patient and keep supporting and maybe one day when you least expect it, if everything goes right, he'll get his turn. Things can change very quickly in this game (for good or bad). One of the many attractions of it.

Gotta dash...from the noise I can hear thats coming down the hallway they're just coming around the turn again!!
