Noms for Menangle today. Work this one out.

For the meeting at Menangle today they originally had carded a 2yo Pacing fillies for 7k and a 3yo Pacing fillies for 7k set down. They duly received 3 noms for the 2yo Pacing fillies and 4 noms for the 3yo Pacing fillies...and yet they got 9 noms for a Trotting Mares Only race & said race goes forward @ 1:20pm, the 2nd on the card. Where have all the 2yo & 3yo Pacing fillies gone? Riddle me that, Batman.

The week before they send the trotters around over the mile with a field of 16, and then this week over 2300 they split them up into two fields of 8???

Adam this one is so simple I can not believe you asked the question,

Two weeks ago there was 10 races without a split, plus if I have the week right there was only 15 not 16 so a split would mean a 7 & 8 so no each way in one race guarantee.

This week they needed to split the trotters to get 9 races. a split with 16 gives 8 & 8 each way both races.

Sorry no conspiracy here just simple race club management and in my view hard to bag, you are not comparing apples with apples.

No apple pie for me from your shop I might get a lemon.

I know what you mean...
I just get frustrated with it!!!
I don't like seeing mile stands in the first place, let alone 15 or 16 horses in one!!!
