If anyone ever deserved an 'Unsung Hero'' award from Harness Racing New Zealand, it's 77-year-old Auckland Trotting Club race night steward, John Ross. And that's exactly what Ross was bestowed with at the New Zealand's annual harness racing awards ceremony in Christchurch last Saturday night (July 28).
