Harness Racing New Zealand's new chairman, Gary Allen, might live in the trotting wilderness but the proud Wellingtonian has his finger right on the pulse when it comes to standardbred administration in New Zealand. For 18 years the former Wellington Harness Racing Club president has sat on the HRNZ Board.
